Nestled among the mountains of Gateway, Colorado, The Gateway Auto Museum
will showcase the collection of Discovery Communications, Inc. founder John Hendricks,
using his cars to tell the story of the performing art of the American automobile.
Jack Rouse Associates developed the master plan for the museum, then went on to design and produced its exhibits.

The 20,000-square-foot museum, which opened in the spring of 2006,
takes visitors on a multi-media tour through American automotive history,
beginning with the first American-made car and ending in the muscle car era.
More than 40 cars are displayed alongside archival advertisements, high-definition media pieces
and science interactives developed according to local and regional academic curriculum standards.

The centerpiece of the museum is a one-of-a-kind 1954 Oldsmobile F-88 “Dream Car,”
which was purchased in January 2005 at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, for a record $3.24 million.

Jack Rouse Associates (JRA) specializes in audience-centric innovation, an integrative way of thinking and problem solving.
Whether designing a new museum, producing a film or developing a cutting-edge visitor attraction,
their firm has a proven record of creating environments that truly connect with people.

"The team at Marquis Auto Restorations would like to sincerely thank Jack Rouse Associates
for making all of our hard work pay off with the ultimate in displays and lighting.
The vehicles in the collection are now "rolling art" in this one-of-a-kind museum setting."
